Junior Outside Hitter Mesaiya Bettis recorded her 1,000th Kill on Saturday, October 7th and has become the first Blaze since Blaze Volleyball Alum, Gopher Alum, and United States Olympian Tori Dixon reached the 1,000 Kill milestone in 2009. We are so lucky to have such a strong, team-first leader and are excited to see Mesaiya continue to score for the Blaze. Congratulations Mesaiya!

Burnsville blaze volleyball team earns the usmc/avca team academic award for the 2022-2023 season.
The United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced today that more than 1,200 collegiate and high school volleyball teams have earned the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award this season. The award, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.
This is the second straight season the Blaze have earned this recognition!

Julia valois records her 1,000th career assist!
Julia Valois put up 98 assists this weekend to help her record her 1,000th Assist and become just the second Blaze to surpass the 1,000 Assist mark since 1998. We are so lucky to have such a strong leader and are incredibly proud of her accomplishment. Congratulations Julia!
