Ali Drutowski is thrilled to be entering her 8th season coaching volleyball, 3rd season with the Blaze volleyball program. Having previously held the roles of 9A & 9B coach during the 2017 & 2018 seasons, Ali brings experience and a passion for the game to her coaching role. After taking time off to raise her two children, she is excited to be back on the court, now at the middle school level at Eagle Ridge. 

Beyond her experience with Blaze volleyball coaching, she also has experience coaching 16’s level club for Perham, 14’s level club for Thunder, and in-house volleyball for 5th/6th graders. She is an 8th grade math teacher at Eagle Ridge Middle School for the last 10 years. 

What brings Ali joy is witnessing the amazing journey of growth in her players’ skills and their whole outlook on the game. She finds coaching volleyball very rewarding. She brings a competitive spirit while adding her own touch of care to it. She teaches her players how to improve their volleyball skills, but also how to be supportive teammates. She hopes to pass her passion for the game of volleyball to her athletes.
